This is officially a new favorite for date night. Love the ambience of the renovated church setting. Great decor, albeit the space is not huge and the best seating is definitely at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. Didn't catch his name but he's a taller bald guy with lots of tats (everyone has lots of tats there but he'll stand out). Very friendly, interactive, and gave outstanding service. Things move a bit slowly here so go in knowing that this will be a leisurely dinner.
Drinks: order These Boots Are Made for Oaxacan. I'm a tequila girl but rarely like any sort of mix drink...this one was out of this world, 10 out of 10.
Food: build your own burrito and the shrimp and snapper tacos were TO DIE FOR. And definitely worth the wait (the kitchen was allegedly "backed up" but the place wasn't overly busy..) It's satisfying to leave a place, look at each other and say, "every single thing we had was amazing!!"
