| - 4 stars for the room, 5 for the concierge, 0 or -1 stars for the front desk/administrative office/pool.
The Westin pool broke (understandable) and their solution was to send me to the Intercontinental (also reasonable).
Well, that's where the "adventure" begins. First it's across the Westin, up to the third floor of the Westin, to walk down 3 floors to the subterranean level of the Westin, go across under the street to the mall across the street, go up a flight of stairs, go through the mall, go up another flight of stairs, go to the lobby of the Intercontinental, and then ask their front desk people how to get to the pool.
Of course silly me did this entire thing in a swimming suit and a robe because the Westin front desk said its "right next door" and "easy to get there." While their pool is broken indefinitely, just make sure you don't make the mistake of thinking you're just going right next door and that you can/should do it in pool clothes.
I went to discuss this with the administrative office, and the person there said that "I must have taken a wrong turn," but as I ended at the Intercontinental front desk, so I am sure that is not the case.
