| - My daughter unfortunately has been having some urinary pain and after visiting our primary doctor, with no significant improvement, we decided to go to a Urologist. Since she's under 18 we were told she needed to see a Pediatric Urologist.
We were greeted by the friendly front staff and as soon as we were done with the new patient forms, we were brought back to the exam room.
Soon the Advanced NP, came in, and started her interview process, read through past medical reports, etc. We immediately felt her compassion and understanding in my daughter's ongoing UTI pain. She was thorough and went over many possible reasons to explain her discomfort. Without judgements or being too pushy, she gently explained her recommendations and advice, going over a healthier route than just more antibiotics, wanting more than a band-aid fix with pills.
We will return in 6 weeks for a follow up, but felt our 1.5 hour appointment, we had her undivided attention and genuine concern. Was very impressed.
