I first went to Liz Ayers about 3 years ago on a Groupon and had highlights and a cut. Was satisfied. Didn't go back for awhile...still not as happy as with my old hair stylist in Long Island. Then tried her again happily. In April 2015 went to get my highlights done before a wedding trip last week of April in Outer Banks. Large patches of orange instead of blond. Liz told me she'd do it again for free...well she did and it came worse. I asked if I could come back after the wedding, but she insisted I come back before and told me the solutions she was applying wouldn't hurt my hair. She was wrong. I have long hair and it was ruined. I went to another salon after the wedding and they said her over processing ruined my hair. I did get a partial refund, but it didn't pay to rely on her advice and have my hair ruined. I was going to take her to court, but didn't want to take the time or legal expense. Let me just say that I liked her, even brought her home cooked food or baked goods. I was more than disappointed that she wasn't more apologetic, nor responsive, when she ruined my hair.
