  • I am so glad this place lived up to all the hype I have heard for years!! I kick myself in my butt for not dragging it here sooner. I always made silly excuses not to venture here from the strip. Yay I finally did and I am sooo happy!! One thing you should expect though is a line. But that is not worthy of decreasing the stars on the review bc it is worth the wait. Not many restaurants are worth a wait but this place is. We got there around 4pm and waiting about 1 hour to sit (2 of us). There are only 18 stools that sit around the bar. You have an awesome view of the cook and can watch him create all the delish dishes. We started with 1/2 dozen oysters (shucked to order) and lump crab cocktail. Next time I will skip the lump crab cocktail-not that great. We split the etoufee with a 4 spice rating. You can pick 1-10 of how spicy you want your dishes. It was SOOOO GOOD!!! I saw some other people order the Pan Roasts which looked amazing too. I can't wait to head back here to try other dishes. The service is not top notch but you're really only coming here for the food not the service or ambiance.
