| - Cinnabons: 5 stars (especially the caramel pecan one)

I'm a big fan of Cinnabon and I find that they are consistently good at most locations. They're best when they're fresh out of the oven but even the ones that have been sitting around for a little while are still soft and chewy, and there isn't anything that the creamy icing can't fix. It's definitely something you shouldn't get on a regular basis...I mean, have you seen them being made?! It's basically butter, cinnamon sugar, and icing. After trying to polish off a large Cinnabon on my own, I felt like my heart was slowing to a stop, but it's just so good that a little decrease in life expectancy isn't enough to cut it out of my life. Over the years, they have come up with lots of different Cinnabon treats. The caramel pecan cinnabon is the best (in my opinion). I'm not big on nuts but the pecans give a little contrast to just cinnamon sugar and icing.
Everyone loves the centre of the roll because that's the softest, warmest, chewiest part, but I do feel like the centre-of-the-roll is a little overrated and doesn't live up to its name. It's still delicious but I would opt for just a regular cinnabon since it's pretty much the same thing. The outer layer always gets hard over time.
The last time I was here, it was on a weekend, and they were practically sold out of everything as the mall was closing up. My boyfriend and I didn't want to buy a box so the only other option was the cinnastix. The lady was selling them for 2 for $5 at this point. I have never really tried them and thought they would be like funnel cake sticks but nope, I was dead wrong. Maybe it was just because it's stale, but they weren't really fluffy, nor soft, nor chewy, nor crunchy. It was just WEIRD. Probably never getting that again (maybe when they're fresh but I'd much rather have a Cinnabon) but on the plus side, it is less sweet from Cinnabon's other offerings, so if you're looking for something sweet but not at the diabetic level, I would say give these a try (just get the fresh ones).
Ambiance: 4 stars
My favourite place to sit in Cinnabon is right by the counter where Cinnabons are being made. It's fascinating even though it's fast and simple process. The seating area isn't very big at this Cinnabon in Markville Mall. I think they are only about 2-3 tables and some bar seats. It's usually clean and brightly lit.
Service: 4 stars
It's standard service but I love how they're willing to put up with you when you're eyeballing all the cinnabons on display and asking for the biggest one! They'll usually dig the one you want out with a smile. Yup, I'm one of THOSE people. They're more or less of the same size but there's always that one that I think is slightly bigger lol. Staff are usually friendly and I have never had a bad experience here.
