| - Kay, her parents, and I strolled around here to kill time while waiting to meet with a realtor.
Ehhh, it's an upmarket Aldi store. The vast majority of their products are sold under the "Trader Joe's" name, and upon doing some research, I discovered that Trader Joe's is in fact owned by Aldi.
Now they are environmentally-friendly, pay their employees more than average wages, and purport to be all-natural, making them more ethical than most supermarket chains. I also saw a bunch of items I'm not used to seeing in stores such as creamed honey and chocolate-coated blueberries.
Something about it failed to capture my imagination, though. I guess seeing all of these upper-middle class folk pushing, shoving, and gnashing their teeth over relatively low-priced groceries that are a step or two away from being generic disheartened me somewhat.
I'd come here again, but I can't say I'd become a regular.
