This hotel was absolutely horrifying. I was placed there by American Airlines after having so much trouble traveling and with cancelled flights. When we arrived, the lighting of the hotel seemed eerily gross. The front desk lady was perfectly pleasant, but she took my voucher and I have no means of a confirmation number to review their actual hotel website.
The elevator was tiny and unclean with litter/trash on the ground. When I got to the floor, the hallways were smelly, unnaturally dark and poorly lit. There was a smoke smell throughout as well as a garbage smell. I got into my room and the room looked clean at least. However, when I looked in the shower, the paint was peeling and the floors were nasty. I put a towel inside the tub so that I wouldn't get any diseases from the tub. Nothing wrong with the water pressure but my toilet wouldn't flush correctly. I was too exhausted to go back downstairs and complain to the desk.
I laid on my bed and went on my computer to see my schedule for the following day. When I looked over again, I realized there was a cockroach ON MY BED AND SHEET. I quickly took a towel and smashed the cockroach and was totally grossed out (picture proof upon request). I constantly was checking under the sheets to see if there any more cockroaches crawling around. I was paranoid the whole night and barely could sleep until exhaustion pushed me over. I'm so glad I didn't pay to stay at this hotel.
There was also a hole in the wall near the outlet and it was simply stuffed with tissue. Sad times. That's probably how the cockroaches get in and out.
In the morning, I woke up around 5:30 and got downstairs before 6AM to get the shuttle. When I got downstairs to the breakfast area, the sign said "Welcome: your morning breakfast" but there was absolutely NO BREAKFAST. (video proof upon request) A huge disappointment upon realization. It really was a terrible experience on top of my travel mishaps and interruptions.
I would never return to this Comfort Inn, it's terrible - if I had paid for it I would be even more angry.
