  • The sales guy Steve Erickson from Evolve Pest Control rang my door bell, I thought is was Amazon delivery, however Steve was very polite & took his time to explain the products that Evolve Pest Control uses. I told Steve that I want to research the company first before I sign up and if he can email me Evolve's contract so I can read it over before signing. He said, 'sure no problem, can I have your email?' I gave him my email and I was thinking that this company is probably on the up & up because they have nothing to hide with sending the contract. So Steve said that Evolve Pest Control will be out on June 2nd to do the initial spray for a lot of my neighbors in Nevada Trails so he'll put me down for that day. He asked for my number so that he can check back in with me to see if I want to go ahead with Evolve. I gave my number to him and I asked for his, which he called my number from his iPad instead of just verbally giving it to me. I saved his number in my phone and I told him that once my husband and I read over the contract he just emailed me I will text him to let him know if we want service or not. BTW I never did receive the contract to read over, so I looked up the company and found that they pushed the sales part more then putting informative information on the products they use and what they have had experience with etc. Instead they are pushing people to come work on their sales team and work your way up to greatness in the world of sales. They have been in business for a few years and there is not much information about them but a lot of negative reviews about how people signed up right away with the sales guy at their door because they believed that the 100% money back guarantee that the sales guy kept saying, which Steve did too, would protect them from not reading a contract. I don't have a good feeling about this company at all. I also texted Steve to notify him that my husband and I will not be signing up with Evolve Pest Control and to please take us off your marketing list. No response....but this all just happened today. I feel stupid for giving out my email and my cell# because I should've just said that I'm not interested to begin with! The sad truth is we no longer live in a country that does 'reputable sales' door to door anymore. I believe Evolve Pest Control makes their money based on the suckers that blindly sign the iPad that their sales agents push at the homes of people who still want to trust that they may get a better deal. It seems Evolve Pest Control pays A LOT of money to train their sales team, look it up on FB in fact they brag about using the best training in the sales area for the sales people. What they don't brag about is how great their product is and how knowledgeable they are in bugs and no mention of how well trained their techs are that spray your house are. So to me that was a re flag! I hope I don't get harassed by them but I will keep you updated.
