  • As I've gotten frail in my old age, and they are so close by, it is often easier to walk the half block for stale bread and a morsel of greying meat that costs $20 than it is to walk anywhere else. Seeing as Giant Eagle is run by families from Fox Chapel, I have always had a feeling that they placed this dirty, understocked, apathetic and understaffed, shameful disgrace of a grocery store in Squirrel Hill as a 'screw you' to our neighborhood. The owners should be ashamed. Please Trader Joe's or any other store, come to Squirrel Hill!
