  • We were on our way to try a new island restaurant until I realized that they're closed on sat-sun. Really? Who does that? Anyways... We are here at Island Style and to be honest, a girl ain't mad, lol. This would be my second time here. Exterior, for some they might look at it be like what f*%! Is this place? But someone like myself who have seen many "Hole in the wall" "mom&pop" restaurants like this...think? I bet they got some bomb authentic food in there hahaha what? Let's just say, don't judge a book by its cover, okayy!!! Haha You walk in, pick your seats...waiter will come with boiled peanuts, water and order any additional drinks. Following the waiter brings out multiple side dishes, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, cold bean sprouts, and I'm not too sure what the last one was but it was good. I ordered the spicy Korean chicken, The chicken came sizzling on a hot little cast iron dishYum. Boyfriend ordered the meat jun. De-lish! On my first visit I ordered the fried rice omelette. Friggin' HUUUGE portion. Holy sh*t the omelette could at least feed three people. Lets just say that I have never had anything bad from this little gem I shall return one day and try something new. And you all should go and try it too....
