  • Not sure why this place has gone through so many ownership changes in the past few years, but this switch to AMC is by far the worst. The building itself is in need of some serious maintenance, plus the place was filthy. We were there on a Saturday night, which I realize is probably their busiest day, but there wasn't even an attempt to keep things clean. There were plenty enough staff members to handle the ticket windows, concessions, and cleaning. But instead, we had two unfriendly teenaged boys bumping into one another to complete our order when one could have been much more useful with a hokie sweeper in hand. Prices were outrageous, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Even though AMC is much closer, we will definitely be going to Marcus next time.
