GoodLife in general is very pushy with their customer service, their focus is on up-selling constantly even if you're already a paying member. My friend was working out on a cardio machine with her headphones in and was approached by a staff member trying to sell her on personal training. I recently cancelled my membership and was told I either had to make an appointment to talk to a manager or call their head office (the phone line is constantly busy and you're put on hold for a long time). I cancelled over the phone but they said it would take several weeks, apparently the contract I signed stipulated I needed to give them 30 days. Anyway, the gym is crowded and some of their cardio machines are basic and cheap, I only went there because the location was convenient.
