Cat urine smell overpowered us as we entered our room. We are cat owners accustomed to litter box odor and it still was intolerable. The front desk person apologetically switched us to another room and said they would report the odor problem so it gets taken care of. About twenty minutes later, I was in the hallway and I see an older couple moving into our first room and instantly say, "It's full of cat urine!" Just as we did, they abandoned the room. This implies that staff knowingly put them in the room with a severe odor problem.
Another example of their dishonesty and indifference toward guests occurred after our stay. I left a custom-made bed pillow in the room, which I thought for sure they would find and contact me about, so I could get it back. I called 3 times to inquire if it was found so I could pick it up. They kept telling me they didn't find it. I find this impossible to believe as it was totally different in size, shape and color from their pillows.
A few other observations/warnings worth mention:
Carpet felt sticky in several areas of our room.
Morning toast was stale; it tasted awful.
TV channels were fuzzy, making TV practically unwatchable.
I would recommend AVOIDING this hotel.
