  • This London Drugs is pretty close to one of my BFFs place of residence. It is very drugstorey, but with electronics. LD is a good place for electronics actually, from cameras to TVs to coffee makers to hair dryers. It is my #1 for affordable, decent hair dryers that come in more brands than just con-air. The makeup selection is cheap, drug store makeup: no luxury brands here! Hair care - a-ok. They have housewares and a decent pharmacy. My most hilarious story about this London Drugs revolves around this past halloween. On our way to an early halloween party, a friend and I needed a couple extras for our costumes. I needed safety pins, and he needed some rope, so everyone else waited outside for us while we went in together. I found my safety pins quickly, and then asked someone where to find rope (thus beating him to it, because boys never ask). When we went to buy our purchases, the lady at the till looked from him, to me, to the rope, and started making off colour jokes about our plans for the night. I can be pretty blonde though, so I missed most of it, besides saying that if she saw me missing in the news she'd know she was the last to see me alive (Thank you too much Criminal Minds). Everytime I wander in now, I laugh to myself a little. It was nice to have staff with a sense of humour.
