  • I was so happy to find a nice Canadian Tire store so close to Auburn Bay (it is in the commercial district to the north of McKenzie Towne) and I was impressed! I was looking for some shelving units for the basement that were part of a big sale in the weekly flyer. Not only did the nice staff member find the item for me (and yes, it was in stock), but also brought over a large trolley cart to help me move the item, and then went in to the stockroom to find two additional units for me to take home as well. After I went through the cash register (where I got one of those new cards that keep track your Canadian Tire 'money' electronically, which means no more finding your Canadian Tire 'money' stashed in various cubbyholes all over your house) another staff member helped me load the shelves into my car. Now that's good customer service... I can only hope that the store improves after it goes through its renovations!
