I tend to be lured in by the architecture of places and a sucker for ambience. Dineen to me is like modern art deco café with barista's in uniforms who have their own personalities.
I ordered an Americano, a tell-tale drink of a café. It is ok. Somehow the temperature is off, not hot enough. The ham and cheese croissant is buttery and simple. Total bill less than 7$.
This place is a buzzing with suits (reflective of the area). I'm nestled around the back end of the bar to study and watch the steady motion of caffeine traffic streaming through.
Dineen has a classy, laidback personality that permeates every aspect of its operation.
Cheers to that !
