Customer service had not been improved since I complained back in 2011. Staff were not energize and unwelcome. If you really need to go to an apple store. Try Yorkdale location.
Details:
- used apple store app to flag for help. They should be notified. 1st time they ignored my request after 3 minutes and they cancelled. I was standing in area the whole time and nobody called my name. 2nd try, they finally realized it was not a joke and located me. After they started talking to me, immediately he was interrupted by another customer and asked me to wait again.
- asked for help on iPhone backup with iTunes. He obviously had no knowledge. He tried to locate help but unsuccessful. Instead of telling me he was not familiar he kept telling me what my unexpected experience with iTunes was impossible. He also added that it did not happen to himself and he had performed the similar operation hundred of times. I ended with him by saying I was not convinced. Then he said you would need to schedule a time with Genius and bring your Mac book air in because most likely your computer had issues.
- Then I asked to locate a product to purchase. He passed me to another staff who seemed to be exhausted after a day of work. I asked about the price discrepancy with the one showed on my apple store app compare the one in store. She searched around on her idevice and at the end, she basically told me she did not know why but just told me "probably" they were different products.
