  • DON'T BE FOOLED! Pk Ave Properties is nothing like the google reviews indicate. As soon as you sign a lease, your property management is handled by GOAL Properties of Indiana, a sister company (or similar) of Pk Ave. Once you're managed by GOAL, you're on your own. All previous contacts are no longer valid and you will have zero means of communication except through the portal. No formal email, no phone number, no personal contact whatsoever. This process is OBVIOUSLY SOP for them, but this was never disclosed to me when I was signing the lease. I've waited over 2 weeks for maintenance issues on the property that I'm renting with zero feedback from GOAL. Furthermore, they claim that I owe them $20 for gas but will not produce a bill or anything to substantiate this. I have sent them repeated messages, and requests for information, but I have heard nothing back from them. Also, our property was listed on the website as 1,577 sq/ft but they counted the 2 car garage! The property is clearly not this large, and is even listed at 1,300 sq/ft on the county register of deeds. I should have checked into this before I signed... With less than 1 month into my lease, I cannot wait for it to end. This is going to be a nightmare. Please avoid them at all costs.
