Im taking stars away for a few reasons.
1- my sisters and I are practically professional at AYCE sushi. So we may have frightened our sushi chef when we ordered 20 different items right from the get-go! Need I mind you, 20 items mostly consisting of sushi that comes 2 to an order at which we order 3 of each can seem like a lot of orders but not between 3 girls. Our server came back to tell us "you know you have to eat everything in all you can eat or you get charged from left orders?" My sisters and I looked at each other with a smirk. Oh yeah! We know!! She proceeded to tell us that they are going to break up our order in half just in case we don't eat it all. Needless to say we shocked the staff by ordering more and desert!! We weren't worried about them breaking it up in half because we knew we would eat it, the timing between was just slow. Hence why we order everything first. There's nothing like a 10-15 minute gap between orders.
2- this might be TMI but I'm breastfeeding, so I can't have spicy food without burning my son's butt. I am also lactose so I can't have cream cheese. My one sister doesn't like to try new things so she likes to stick to what she knows, while my other sister is adventurous. The fact that they don't do half orders during AYCE is disappointing. The half orders are a good way for us to try a little bit of everything so we can see what we like. But we were told we can only have our last order be a half order. Bummer!! I honestly
Never heard of that, and I frequent sushi!
I will say the sushi was good, and the service was ok. But what sets this place apart from the rest is their AYCE- it really left us disappointed. Being a big sushi lover, I'm sad to say neither of my sisters nor myself will be coming back and is no longer on our recommended places of sushi.
