| - Pools in vegas are frustrating. During summertime, its always hot, and those of us unlucky enough to not have access to a pool at home are forced to brave either the crowds and prices of a resort pool, or the germs and children's screams of a public pool. When picking between pee or spilled high priced alcohol in my chlorinated water, i'll always pick the resort.
That being said, hotels pools are crowded, expensive, and often a pain to get to, requiring parking, and usually navigating a crowded, smoky casino.
The M Pool however, is the lesser of all these evils. Unless you live in north las vegas, it's not that hard to get to, parking is easy, and the casino is one of the cleanest in the city.
The Pool itself is modern, clean, and best of all, cheap. Err... cheaper than most. Ladies are free to get in, and guys cost $10. A small price to pay for access to a giant body of cool water on a 110 degree day.
The bar and food menu is reasonably priced, and the quality of the food is just above decent. Perfect for consuming a bucket of beer and floating in your rubber ducky floaties.
There is usually a DJ there on weekends that blasts pretty decent music, and there are plenty of seating options, especially daybeds and cabanas if you want to shell out a little extra $$$.
All in all, if you're like me, and don't want to dig a hole in your backyard to get out of the summer heat, the M Pool is a great, and probably less invasive option.
