| - Went for New Year's Eve. Arrived at the hotel at 10:00 pm. Was told by valet that there was no parking. No apology given, no empathy, just a brusque "we're full, park down the street" Proceeded down the street, then walked back. Security turned me away from two entrances, again no apologies, just go down the block and use the main entrance. It was -8, the least they could do was act sympathetic. I went to front desk, and said to front desk " I'm livid, I've never had service this poor from a Sheraton. I would like to speak with the manager. " Front desk apologizes and goes to get the manager. Out comes a short woman, insists that i introduce myself before she would listen and ask what the problem is. I told her, and she says simply "We're very busy" her tone and attitude were very sarcastic and antagonistic. She suggested that if we didn't like the service we could leave. We took her suggestion and went to the Fairmont Royal York. The valet parking was full, but the doorman at the Royal York was friendly sympathetic and helpful. We got a nicer room for slightly less money, reception was friendly and apologized on behalf of the hospitality industry for the service we got from Sheraton center.
