  • Several weeks ago I committed with a group of 40 people to attend the 2015 Oktoberfest at House Murphy (5739 W. Glendale Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301). Yesterday, on the day of the event, the organizer of our group received a confirmation phone call from them that ended with "Make sure everyone in your group has $10 cash for the entrance fee." This was the very first time it was mentioned! To add this fee at the last minute, with no time to contact everyone, was a slimy, low-life method of gouging money. BEWARE of this last-minute trickery at this mendacious establishment.
