  • For the price, Treasure Island was great. It's a bit kitschy and the meals and drinks quite expensive, but the per-night rate, cleanliness, pool, and location were all fantastic. Pros: - Clean, spacious rooms with nice views - Prompt, courteous bell, front desk, and housekeeping staff - Location; right next to the Mirage, Venetian, Wynn, near Cesar's - Lots of coupons for in-house drinks and activities at checkin - Pool clean, large, and pretty w/ towel service, drink service - Señor Frog's has good food and drinks (albeit at strip prices) - Tram to Mirage - Access to Mirage pool Cons: - The salon wasn't great. They were 45 minutes late to start our makeup appointments because a technician had called out that morning, putting them behind. We had to cancel our dinner reservation before seeing Celine because we finished our appointments an hour later than planned. This would have been avoided if we had been called before the appointment and advised of the delay; we could have finished doing hair, getting dressed, etc., and been ready to leave at the end of the appointment and made our reservation. The woman at the front desk was very helpful - She printed our show tickets and gave us a discount for the services when we requested it. They made it as right as they could, but I wouldn't recommend the salon if you're on a schedule. - Prices of food, drinks, slots, and gambling match that of the rest of the strip - Didn't love the service at Seafood Shack; staff grumpy and not very helpful - Mystere is fantastic and more reasonably-priced than other Cirque de Soleil shows - Not the best hotel for nightlife; Señor Frogs and Gilly's Saloon are the only bars; no clubs, etc. Tips: - Like most hotels on the strip, if you arrive before checkin you can check your bags beforehand for free. At checkin they will bring your bags to your room. Only cost is gratuity to the bellman. - Ask for any extra coupons at checkin. These may include 2-for-1 drinks at a couple of the bars, 2-for-1 buffet, and 2-for-1 Mystere tickets.
