| - I am super happy I found this place - it's a bit tucked away, but so good. "Drink a barrel-aged cocktail" has been on my list for ages, and I finally got to check that off here - they actually have like half a dozen of them. I tried their barrel-aged boulevardier, which was the best boulevardier I've ever had - the aging both adds to the flavor, and smooths some of the edges off it. And while it's not the cheapest cocktail I've ever had, it's certainly one of the cheapest cocktails I've had that was this good, in *Vegas*. And because it's out of the way, I had no problem snagging a seat and getting a drink quickly even though it's pretty small (which also adds to the appeal, in my opinion).
After drinking that, I mentioned I'd seen online that they had a "dealer's choice" type whiskey tasting, which they do still have, so I requested that, cause it sounded fun. What I got was three numbered but not labeled little glasses of whiskey for $20, in a cute display with DIY water and ice. I will say, as far as value goes, this wasn't the best, as it was only three and you didn't get a huge amount - but as far as learning about whiskey, it was super fun doing a blind tasting like that (they told me what the three were after I'd ranked them, and I learned that I am a huge fan of Buffalo Trace, which I hadn't previously ever had, so now I have to buy a bottle of it.)
Only regret is that I didn't get to try more of the drinks here - I probably wouldn't try the flight again, but I would absolutely, without question, try to pop by anytime I was in Vegas in the future, for more of their barrel-aged cocktails (and ideally, their other cocktails as well.)
