I just moved from California to teach here in Peoria less than a month ago. I had brought with me a prescription from my doctor and when CVS told me that the medication was on backorder, I came here to see if they had any in stock. The pharmacist refused to fill the prescription because it was from out of state even though he admitted that he had the medication in stock. I realize that I had an unusual issue, but there is no Arizona law nor is there a guideline that states that they cannot take out of state prescriptions. He admitted that it was a not a law, but they would not even try to help me. This place is right down the street from my work and I would love to support a small local pharmacy over a corporate chain. But they don't want my business.
