  • Staycation and was completely thrilled by the staff. Since I travel a lot on business, I'm able to identify when a staff member is engaged in his work. The customer interaction, helpfulness and great communication tells me the Phoenician trains their staff and they seem to love their work. Rented a cabana at the Canyon Pool and dined, relaxed at the spa (clean, professional), worked out at the gym. Relish Burger Bistro was a huge disappointment, staff was not attentive, food arrived cold, etc. Il Terrazzo was the best dining for breakfast. Great staff, food and a bird handler was there to make sure the crows weren't bothering the guests. (I've only seen this in the Caribbean) Little Gelato place was very good, coffee was excellent. I will come back every summer-this was wonderful.
