  • This event is a ton of fun! Saturday is just insane with the amount of people! We got to the gate at 5:15am on Saturday and there were probable a couple hundred people there ahead of us. We waited until 7am and then it was a shove fest to the ticket taker followed by close to a mile run (some sprint.) Stay to the left and follow the people and you will find a seat surrounding the green. If you don't run you probably wont get a seat near the green but should still find a seat on 16 in the middle area. By 7:30 the GA seats were filled and there was a long line waiting for anyone to leave to get into 16. 11:30 is when the first group came though. Its a commitment and they did toss some free burritos out and had a DJ. Beers at my section of 16 were pints of coors light and miller light for $8. Hot dogs for $7 and water for $4. If I leave this area to find better food options I lose my space and I feel they need to options than a hot dog for people spending all day in one spot. Also an area to fill a water bottle would go a long way. The line to get a beer by the way was close to 30mins. Sunday was more enjoyable to me there was way less people and walking around the course was cool and more options to choose from. All and all it was a lot of fun. 16 is a must do experience but don't know if I would do it again in the future. I would for sure come back to this event though!
