  • 1 1/2 week ago we tried the service people at Earnhardt Kia once again. (25 min. drive each way) The last few times we brought it in, we had to bring it back in again due to either the AC blowing hot air (it went in for an oil change), or an oil leak. Both took forever so they ended up getting me a rental car after my husband during his busy day had to drive me there twice. The last time it took 3 days for the AC to be fixed. WOW! This time we had a safety issue with our Sorrento, it would think the car started but it actually was not, it was confused. Found out there was a recall with this issue, so we brought it in ASAP. Guess the recall was replaced the last time it was in, yet it still has this issue but yet can't do anything about it. So we ended up with just getting an oil change. Drive it home and the AUTO button on our heating/cooling system is not working! I called up "Trisha" again and asked how in heck's name can something go wrong with the Cooling system every time it goes in for an oil change. There was no way I could bring it back again and have my husband pick me up so I told her they would have to come get it from my house in Scottsdale and bring it back again. I have to say I was somewhat shocked when she agreed. So today just by "coincidence" a switch had tripped and just needed to get reset. Really???? Anyway I guess we will be making a 40 min. drive to a different service station from now on. Was somewhat looking into buying a Kia Soul, but after our service disasters, we will not be buying another Kia. I have better use of my time.
