| - Love this place. While the Cedar Lee specializes in "Merchant-Ivory" sort of stuff, The Cinematheque has more daring choices - films from Iran, Vietnam, etc. They have retrospectives for the usual suspects (Bergman, Truffaut, et al), as well more obscure directors (Naruse, Oliveira). They also occasionally show "regular" movies (e. g. "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly").
The new digs are great. It's in the rapidly gentrifying Uptown neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants, bars, coffeehouses, etc. There's a small free parking lot next to the building which fills up quickly, and a larger free lot across the street. Both lots are well lit.
Well worth the two-hour drive from Erie, PA.
