One of my worst hotel experiences ever.
After a long flight from Hawaii to Las Vegas we were tired and excited to arrive at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 3:45pm, our scheduled check-in was at 4 PM. They said our room was not ready yet and will be ready in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later we checked back in and they said the room is still not ready and asked us to wait in the lobby for another 20 minutes... Again and again we checked in and the front desk kept telling us that the room wasn't ready and to wait another 20 minutes. We waited in the lobby for 3.5 hours!!!! This is ridiculous! The entire time we waited they did not offer us any service/water. While waiting in the lobby it was aggravating to see other new hotel guest check in to their rooms. Horrible service.
This hotel "provides" Internet for their guests. We tried to get online and was unable to, asked the front desk for assistance, they said the hotel's IT personnel will be able to assist. No help/call was provided. A few hours later we called the front desk again and they said some was was coming to assist us... No help came. We did not receive any help or follow up from the front desk. Terrible service.
Since one of the members in our party is a time share owner at this hotel, they provided us complimentary tickets (100% free) to any preselected show in Vegas. One of the shows we wanted to see that was in their list was Ka. The guy helping us out was named Gary or George. He said that Ka was a special show and even though it's on their list it had an additional cost because it's a "premium" show. He charged us an additional $40 Cash only and they said they will RSVP our names for the show. I thought it was unusual that we didn't get a receipt, but it seemed legit and we were just excited to watch Ka. He presented us a voucher and said that's it's redeemable at the show counter for tickets. That night we showed up to Ka all excited. The voucher that World Mark provided was not accepted by Ka. The manager at Ka said she could not honor this "voucher" because it was not a voucher redeemable for tickets and was like "this is not even a voucher, we've never seen this before". Also our names were not even on the RSVP list that this hotel said they were going to do. The employees at Ka said that they have seen in the past other dissatisfied guests from this hotel come in with hopes of watching Ka only to get an Epic Fail by this hotel. We also got ripped off by George/Gary a world mark employee for $40.
World Mark- your employee's customer service is terrible. This is also terrible because one of the members in our party is a time share owner with World Mark.
