| - Stopped in at 11:30 for lunch with my coworkers. Our table reserved for 7 was set-up and we were sat immediately. We definitely beat the lunch rush, as it didn't start to fill until closer to 12:15. Simple breakdown...
Service: Excellent. The waitstaff is well-educated about the menu and as a former server, they hit all the marks for fine dining. The staff is friendly and make for a delightful experience. They offer complimentary coat check upon arrival.
Food: Our table ordered 3 chicken Parmesans, a spinach pizza, a chicken Waldorf salad, seared tuna salad and a grouping...the grouping meal is a neat concept. They have 4 groups to choose from and each group has 3 different types of food. You order one item from each group. For example, the dish at our table included beef tenderloin, shrimp with salsa, gnocchi and mozzarella basil salad. The portions are all tapas size but all together, it makes for a solid meal. Great way to sample different parts of the menu. No complaints about the food. I had the seared tuna salad and the taste was better than expected. I do not usually mix citrus with in my salads but the glaze on the grapefruit and oranges in this dish paired nicely with the bitter punch of the arugula.
The only reason I cannot issue 5 stars is that my meal was the priciest...and the smallest, with limited variety. The salad is served on a plate and not in a bowl. The only toppings are tuna, oranges and grapefruit. I would have felt that I got my moneys worth if the salad was arugula plus mixed greens with select vegetables mixed in.
Decor: classy and rustic. Exposed stone walls and dried flowers pressed into the doors. Beautiful!
The menu lists an option for GF pasta and for that reason, I will probably go back. Their pasta dishes sounded amazing and I love any chance to try a restaurant that caters to gluten intolerance!
