rev:text	Stayed for a few nights this past week. I took note of the not so great reviews prior to coming, and took heed of the advice to not touch the fridge, etc. This is a boutique hotel, and not a regular W. This is also attached to the SLS hotel, on the opposite end of the strip in relation to the main airport. Those things in mind 1. You will have to use rideshare apps or cabs to get up and down the main strip, or use the monorail (this hotel is the last stop, and it's super convenient to use the monorail). 2. It is boutique style, and is very, very nice. That being said: Pros-- there isn't s lot of traffic down this way, and it makes it convenient to get Lyfts. The hotel is generally nice, they have multiple restaurants they share with the SLS. The W side is less busy, and doesn't allow smoking in the "living room"(lobby) which was also a plus. Service was pretty decent, the staff was attentive, and the housekeeping was immaculate. The bathrooms are really nice, showers have 2 shower heads. All in all I enjoyed my stay. Cons-- you are further up on the strip, and out of reach to the main drag by walk. We did walk one day back to see how far it is, and it is far. There is a $35 per day "resort fee" even when the pool is closed, this really sucks. They will tack it on and add it at the end without forewarning. You will spend a lot on Lyfts as well. Do NOT remove items from the in-room mini bar or snack bar that you do not want to be charged for. The system is weighted and will charge your room after 60 seconds of being removed. I would stay again if I wanted to have a low key type of Vegas trip. If you want the thrill and excitement, stay further on the strip.
