I was at the hospital yesterday. This is a 50/50 review.
The person I dealt with admitting was borderline snotty and rude.
My nurse from New Jersey was awesome. So was the one in the holding area.
After surgery the CNA I had in the recovery roon was more interested in socializing and her back hurting than taking care of someone who had just gotten out of surgery. I had to practically beg for my ice chips and wasn't offered anything for pain until I was ready to go home. I was hesitant about even having to go to Desert Springs in the first place because I have been to St. Rose previously and it is like night and day but unfortunately, my Dr doesn't have am affiliation with them
If I am going to be treated like an afterthought when I need help in a situation when I am at the mercy of someone else, it's not good.
Also, my boyfriend said the waiting area had bratty, obnoxious kids that he had to deal with while waiting for me. I was given a list of instructions where it was clearly stated to NOT BRING CHILDREN. Why does am adult have to be stressed out with badly behaved kids in a waiting area????
I will be sure to try to NEVER have anything to do with Desert Springs in the future. I strongly advise that you do the same.
