  • This Fry's, the "Pima & Shea" location (10450 N 90Th St.) is way more than your basic grocery store, with it's Beer & Wine Bar, Cold Stone ice cream counter, Starbucks, Bookstore, amazing Bakery with ultra-fresh pastries & breads, Sushi Bar, walk-in Wine Cellar, so much more, and an atmosphere that just makes me enjoy shopping. Have you ever gone to the grocery store, but still really haven't thought of the meals that you're going to make, or what to get? Yes, I do that, and I'm usually hungry, so these are my two favorite ways to make out a grocery list: Pizza & Beer or Soup, Salad & Soda (You can sit at the Beer & Wine bar with TVs, surrounded by the atmosphere of beautiful wine and cheese displays, or you can sit in their casual "dining" area.) Check out the photo of their pizza oven and hand tossed pizza. I'm talking 2 BIG slices of great pizza (Deluxe, Hawaiian, Carbonara, Italian Sausage & Peppers...LUV it, plain cheese or Margherita) & a 16 ounce Draft Beer for $7.00! Do you want a salad with that? Their VERY large salad bar and adjacent olive and antipasto bar are kept completely clean and fresh, and the soups are right there too. I love their broccoli-cheese soup. They have a much larger selection (of everything), so it's worth the extra distance for me to get fruits, vegetables & specific items that other stores don't carry, and where else can you find a cashier who plays the harmonica and sings to you, haha. Check out my video clip of Joey Abston. You can also see him on his Facebook page with a news feature. The store has the feeling of an AJ's, but the prices are those of "your basic grocery store." You can buy beautiful Filet Mignon at $12.99/pound from the butcher, baked potatoes, chives (which are on sale sometimes for only .99), and a Caesar Salad kit (2 for $3), and if you know how to cook a perfect filet topped with melting herb butter, then you'll be saying what my family does..."This is better than eating at (insert favorite steak restaurant name here)!" If you DON'T know how to SousVide or pan sear & baste the perfect steak, you're welcome to watch my YouTube cooking video and also "How to make Herb Butter (Compound Butter)." https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFZIIhh-6NOtiUBzTs6b75w Sous Vide & pan sear, basting with Thyme and butter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRIoDF98_fo&t=119s
