| - It has been my experience, that if the staff is happy, and the patients welfare and comfort is a priority, no matter the time or request, the residents morale is vastly improved resulting in better rehab possibilities. South Mountain Post-Acute is not the 1st facility my county's hospital sent me to heal. By attention to detail - in physical therapy & occupational therapy; the equipment is by far better & more diverse than where I live! Every department also shines in the aspect to make the stay accommodating; nutrition requests, arts & activities with fun in group settings, religious opportunities, on time medications, arranged transportations, doctor notation, cleanliness and maintenance are all top notch. I am surprised with all this SMPA is only listed as a 4 star facility, really deserving of a "5 star rating!" I know after my injuries I was in a semi "dark place" mentally but this place (all 1st name basis) from social services, case management clear to admissions has helped me see possibilities are in the near future of being back to where I was before the accident that set me back.
