| - IKEA! Who doesn't love Ikea?! I'll tell you who. People who don't like giant warehouses stocked with cool stuff or nice things for good prices.
Pretty much every time I go into Ikea I leave with way more stuff than necessary. There are so many cool and strange items... and I want them all. Seriously, some of the things there are so interesting I don't even know what they're for, but I know I want it!
They really do have something for every single room in the house. They've got different sections for the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, den, kids room, office, outdoor... even a section for storage and organizing! I love it!
The layout of Ikea is a interesting as the things inside. It's a giant maze all through the place. If you missed a section, they've got signs pointing you in the direction of a shortcut. Or, if you're overwhelmed by all the awesomeness and need to get out, they've got hidden exit too! It' perfect!
On the other hand, I can see how people wouldn't like this place if they don't like walking around for hours trying to maneuver their way through all the people and carts. Ikea has become such a craze that it's always busy, from open to close, everyday of the week.
Another thing that people might not like is the do-it-yourself assembly each item come with. Unless assembled when you leave the store, you're going to be sitting on your living room floor with an Allen key in hand putting stuff together for the rest of the night. Honestly, that's my favourite part about Ikea. I love being able to set things up myself. It make me feel accomplished and satisfied with my purchase.
Two words can sum up my experiences at Ikea... HOLY SH*T! It's probably the best home decorating/furniture store ever. But, anyone who's been there and doesn't despise shopping knows that. It goes without saying.
