The Alamo's self-proclaimed "most liberal rules in Nevada" now include 4 decks and no doubling down on aces.
Dealer was professional and friendly. His boss was rude and overtly unwelcoming. I was the only person playing and he couldn't have cared less.
Being that I wasn't allowed to double down my soft 17, I asked the dealer if he knew what the basic strategy called for. It was the first time I have ever been told, at any casino, "we aren't allowed to discuss strategy or give any advice."
It's beyond me why anyone would bother to visit this joint.
