  • Always stop by Viva Las Arepas anytime my wife and I are in Vegas. My wife grew up in Venezuela and swears everything here is as authentic you can get. I recommend the following: - Arepas: Shredded Beef, Roasted Pork Butt - Fried Yucca - Passion Fruit Juice (Parchita/Maracuya) - Shredded Beef Empanada (note these are fried not baked like Argentinian/Cuban empanadas) - Green sauce (Guasacaca) on EVERYTHING - Cachapas (for sweet tooths) After your meal, save room for Gelato next door (same owners). Wait can be a little long. Do phone-in orders to save time as area can have a bit of traffic.
