  • After lots of great reviews we were looking forward as part of our "new restaurant Tuesday" adventures where we try a new place usually always based on Yelp. Nothing bad or glaring, but I feel this place has seen better days. The ambience is not as old school Italian romantic as more a little dated. The faux murals on the wall and a little tired interior could use an update. The waiter was very good, attentive and helped steer us toward a couple of favorites. The food here is solid. We enjoyed both our appetizer (calamari) and our entrees. I had the Tortellini house specialty and it was very good. Wife had the penne which was OK. No room for desert and we took about half of our portions home for leftovers due to size. The location is good near the highway and the view is interesting. Nothing glaringly bad but nothing that knocked our socks off. This is a solid neighborhood Italian place where you won't be disappointed but not be overwhelmed either.
