What a complete A-HOLE. My sister has been going all over the place trying to get a key cut for a new deadbolt their landlord put in. So I got the key description and thought I would call in and ask if they could tell me if they have it in stock.
Me: "Hi there, I have a key that needs to be cut and I was wondering if you could tell me if you have it in stock..."
Clerk: (Interrupting): "You have to bring it in."
Me: "Well, I thought maybe you could tell me if you have this model before I went all the way there for nothing..."
Clerk: "You have to give me the code. I just can't tell you if we have it if you don;t give me that."
Me: "If you would give me a chance I can tell you."
Clerk: "Ok."
Me: "Silver, brand is DOREX, model number engraved is XXX12345"
Clerk: "That means nothing to me, that's not a model number. You have to go to Lock Smitt."
Me: "Sorry"
Clerk: "Lock Smidd."
Me: "Do you mean lock smith?"
Clerk "Yes, Lock Smidd."
Me: "OK, well can you recommend one to me to go to?"
Clerk: "No, go look in the yellow pages."
What a frigging asshole customer service. Never will I ever give this place my money. Jerk.
