  • Wow, just wow. I am a fan of Fresh Market stores elsewhere in the area but this one is down the street from me and I am so glad they opened. The store is in the old Black Lion / Talley's location for those of you who have lived here a while. It's laid out much better than the other area stores I've been to. They have large meat and produce sections as well as everything you'd expect in a Fresh Market. Personally, I love their fresh sections and the best feature of all is the seafood bar - 6 seafood salads that you can scoop your own at $12.99 lb. As I browsed the store, I saw brands that I haven't seen in years. Anyone from up north remember Charles Chips? And Unique Pretzels which are made in my hometown and the best pretzels in the world! - Trust me! The deli has fresh salads, they have fresh fish, fresh baked goods. Personally, I think Fresh Market has the best pies than any other area store. They don't call it Fresh Market for nothing! I suggest coming here on off times as the parking lot can get kind of crazy since they opened.
