| - If this would have been the first place that I looked for a wedding dress, I would have been very discouraged and really upset with the treatment I received here. One of my friends (and bridesmaid) set up an appointment here for me to try. I drove all the way up from Tucson for an appointment (not just with this place, thank God) and I arrived about 15 minutes late. The lady at the front desk could not find my appointment, which we had made several days earlier, and turns out she was spelling my name wrong, even after I corrected her, several times.
Then, when we finally went up the stairs where the wedding dresses were, the consultant, Maria, found out about my smaller budget, she directed me to a room of dresses that were "on sale", and told me to pick some out and left to help someone else. She was pretty tough to understand with a really thick Spanish accent (which wouldn't have been terrible if she didn't sound so condescending about the pricing). This room of dresses was full of dresses that were stained, damaged, or frayed. And clearly in most cases, based on the quality of the dresses, were way overpriced. I picked out two dresses, from among the horrors, and hung them up to try.
Eventually she came back and took the dresses into the dressing room. She took me into one of the dressing rooms, barely closed the dressing room curtains, and just held out the dress for me to step into. My hips do not allow for this, but she doesn't even attempt to help me, and keeps peeking through the curtain and calling out to another bride trying on dresses. She left to help the other bride before I could even get into a dress. I called my mom in to help me into the dresses, but they just did not fit right. I tried them both on before Maria bothered to come back and my friend, my two sisters, my mother and I were fed up with the crappy customer service and we left. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
We went to Brilliant Bridal later that day and had a fantastic customer experience with gorgeous dresses at a reasonable price, and I left with my dress.
