  • Peace of Mind. I used Desert Valley to install CCTV cameras(fully wired), Nest thermostats, Music surround sound with television integration, sonos music, alarm system, garage door opener, kwikset door lock keypad with a Ring doorbell. Thomas from Desert Valley integrated everything in a timely but intensive 4 days. I can now open my control4 application and turn on the alarm, unlock the door or garage, control the volume of the music, talk to fedex at the doorbell, cool down the house,turn on inside lights, and visually check on the home wherever I am out or in. You don't realize the slickness and user friendliness of control4 until you get a consult. But control4 can be programmed to have all your devices communicate with each other. For instance I have my contractor use a specific code to enter the front door keypad lock which control4 then recognizes to turn off the alarm and then sends me a text that the contractor is at the home. I had bought a second home and wanted to do it right and make it a "smart home" so called Desert Valley because of their great Yelp reviews. They were on schedule and the pricing was well itemized, and didn't change from the quote to install. When I asked for a follow up service call they were out the next day. It's always more important how the service is after the install. I am writing this review seven months later after I placed a call to their repair person Nick, as I wanted some programming changes. I told him it wasn't something that needed to be updated right away. Well he added my tweaks I wanted within a few hours and emailed me that the system was updated. Awesome service. Clearly not a company that disappears after install. They are a full service operation which I appreciate not having to call outside people for each integration I need. One happy customer. Customer satisfaction means something at Desert Valley.
