  • Cineplex Odeon, at Cavendish Mall is a small and quiet move theater. It is less frequented as it is in the English speaking area of Montreal (Cote St-Luc), and surrounded by retirement communities. It's clean, quiet and deserving of 4 stars. The mall itself is going down the drain, it is already cut in half and being turned into additional housing, but the remainder of the building including the theater are expected to stay. The prices are ok, they have matinee prices, which offer a slight discount (maybe 15%). The concession area is clean and the staff is attentive. Also the prices for concessions are cheaper compared to any US movie theater if that's what you are used to. Again, I prefer to go here because less people are in the theater than most mainstream theaters, which means less people interrupting the entertainment with cell phones, talking, laser pointers, etc..
