If you can't rate this place at least 4-stars you probably picked the wrong vacation destination or hotel. It's a ton of fun here on a hot summer day, although I personally prefer the Monte Carlo pool/river/wave scene a little more.
They have here a beach, wave pool, lazy river, and many pools. Drink and eat till you plop. Now the wave pool is questionable--it sends a wave so infrequently that you can go to the restroom, come back, and not miss a wave. I asked the lifeguard if there is a session where the waves are stronger and more frequent and he said no. It was really boring standing in the pool waiting for a wave that had the power similar to if I swished my hand. The Monte Carlo takes no prisoners once they get their wave pool going.
Now just like the Monte Carlo beach/pool scene--we were one of the few peeps here without a tattoo. And that is okay--I kind of like the trashy tattoo scene. But the smoking that goes along with it at the pool is not cool.
The lazy river has a bridge that you float under that delivers a strong waterfall that can rip your bathing suit off on direct impact. You can float around it, but I loved getting pounded and caught up in the swirl.
