rev:text	I had an appointment scheduled to try on gowns next week, but my mom and I were in the area and wanted to see if we could stop by. We did call ahead before going to make sure that it was ok with them and if they had someone available to assist us. Fortunately, they did, and since it was a weekday afternoon, I was actually the only bride in the store! Renee was my consultant. She was hands-off at first and let me pull gowns that I thought I might like - well, my mom pulled the gowns, because I'm pretty clueless ;) After trying on a few gowns, I found one that I really liked, except it was a little more of a fitted A-line than I had hoped for. Renee pulled another gown by the same designer, same style (even the same sash), but with a very full A-line (technically a ball gown, but not princess poufy). It. Was. Perfect. Like....stand in front of the mirror and stare at myself perfect. I did continue to try on a few gowns, but Renee suggested putting on the dress that I loved again and then gave my mom and I a few minutes to discuss the dress. I ended up purchasing this gown, and I have no idea what their price range is, because I blew my budget. However, alterations ARE included with the purchase of a full-price gown (not the sale gowns). I also received a 10% discount for purchasing on my first visit. I was in sticker shock, but I think she also mentioned that the bridesmaids will get a discount on their dresses as well. I can't remember. Renee picked out the perfect veil to go with the dress as well as a flower hair accessory, which I never would have even thought to put in my hair. Renee did a very good job and made me feel at ease about everything.
