I went to momo for a warm toned dark caramel balayage. I was first consulted with one girl about exactly how i wanted the colour to look like but when it came to dying my hair another girl just asked to see the picture i wanted and then coloured it. Also i have wavy hair and they kept pressuring me to do a straight perm instead just because the price of that is more expensive.
The girls that work there were incredibly sweet to me but at times I definitely felt like they were talking about other customers in Korean. They also offer you tea water coffee and snacks which is really nice.
After toning, my hair looked a brassy blond colour which was exactly what i said i didn't want. I guess i looked really upset with my hair because they kept complimenting me and trying reassure me that it looked good.
Overall, this place is a hit or miss but still very affordable. I would recommend it if you are going for a vibrant colour like purple or pink but not if you want a classic balayage.
