  • The parking team, the security guard, the box office, the ticket scanner and the person handing me the program were all super nice and helpful. I also indulged in the baseball helmet nachos and they were great. Let's talk about the team. We have two lefty's that can't hit into right field to save their lives. They actually shift their entire outfield toward left field since our two lefty's can't hit to right. If one of our lefty's could shank it down the right field line we'd have scored a few runs rather than leaving men on base. It is super hard for me to accept that these kids really want to be major leaguers. How can you be a lefty and let them give you right field and you cannot hit it there? Does this team need better batting coaches? Or an entirely new management team? Then you have the manner-less left fielder. On cancer awareness night each player ran out to their positions with a cancer survivor. Of course, most walked because the cancer survivor with them could not run. Except snobby left fielder who ran, not giving one hoot about the cancer survivor that he was suppose to escort. What is wrong? Did he not get the memo? So the left fielder SPRINTS out into left field and the cancer survivor walked out alone. Super tacky. This team is super sloppy I sure hope when they re-brand this team and move to their new field in Summerlin they clean this team up. Go to a game and see one of these guys strike out and throw their bat and throw their helmet and then walk to their position while someone else cleans up their mess and brings them their glove. This is not a reflection of someone who is trying to earn a spot on a major league team. These kids have to at least be in their 20's and been playing ball for at least ten years, have they not learned etiquette, showmanship, class, appreciation for people that paid to see them, hustle .. the list goes on. This team is always a huge disappointment to me. The stadium, the staff, the experience is fun and aesthetically pleasing but don't come here and expect to see a team that works hard, because I have been to four games in the last 30 days and all I've seen is lazy, nearly skill-less boys. And they also lost all four games. Another thing I pray improves when they move to Summerlin is the sound system. The lady yelling in-between innings is awful, I mean simply awful to listen to. Don't go to the game with a friend and expect to chat and converse between innings because the woman yelling, ugh -- you get it. Can we have a few innings of peace? The sound system is too loud. The best thing about going to Cashman on ballgame night is the bat dog! Love that dog :) makes the night worthwhile. Get it together 51's.
