Loved the store and merchandise BUT THE SALESWOMAN WAS HORRIBLE.
My first time ever going to a Dress Barn in WINDSOR SQUARE shopping center on Monday, February 29th in the late morning. I've been told by friends it's a great store and they have many nice dresses. My son is getting married in June and I needed a dress. I entered the door and it was looked amazing! Beautiful dresses in great displays throughout the well lit store. The only thing missing was a salesperson who actually was interested in the her customers.
I casually walked through the store, passed right in from of the check out in the back of the store. The salesperson was checking out one customer, the only one in store, other than myself. I found some beautiful dresses that I wanted to try on and needed some help. No one checked on me while I was there looking, not in her sight for 15 minutes since I first entered the door! I had to hunt her down; she was putting some clothes back on the rack and when I asked if I could please try these dresses on, she mumbled to me, unclear as to what she said. I asked her to please show me the dressing rooms as I had never been there before. She was about as accommodating as a wall. Literally. I tried the dresses on and I had to hunt her down again to ask where I should put the dresses I didn't want. She had such a snotty attitude. I didn't get her name off her name tag, if she even had one on. But she was a lighter color young black woman with longer blondish-red rows. If I owned a Dress Barn, I certainly wouldn't want her representing my company with a cold, unfriendly attitude like hers. I was really disappointed with the service.
I will definitely go back to that store again because I loved the dresses were beautiful and the prices were affordable for this retired lady. But I really hope a different salesperson is working that day.
